My friend Andy Polaine interviewed me for his podcast, Power of Ten. We discussed several topics dear to me: how I got into designing digital experiences, the impact of social media in society, Living in Information, gardening vs. architecture, knowledge management systems, and more.
The gist: I aspire to live a life of the mind, to act more skillfully in the world. Computers can help in that effort — but they must be used mindfully. Information gardening is about intentional building and stewarding systems that allow us to do so.
